Dear Friends, I want to encourage you to be bold as a lion and to recognize where many of your problems are coming from. Ephesians 6:12 states we are not fighting against people, but here is the list:

Evil spirits which are organized and operate in groups and ranks such as:

1. Principalities - Chief rulers of the highest order

2. Power - Authorities under chief rulers to execute their will

3. Rulers of darkness of this world - world rulers who are men

4. Wicked angels in the heavenlies

God's Good Word to You:

Remember the story from Luke 10:17-20, Jesus gave His apostles and disciples authority over all the power of the enemy. This is true and His power is greater than all satanic power, yet many Christians feel weak and helpless?

Here is the Good News: Ephesians 6:11, 13 states that Christians are to put on the whole armour of God so they can stand against the tricks of the devil. The armour is the presence of Christ filling and ruling your life.

His presence becomes operative as you receive the mighty baptism of the Holy Spirit (verse 10). Without this strength, you are very limited in your awareness of the workings of Satan given in verse 12.

Take Three BIG Steps:

Here's why many spirit filled believers miss their victory. They do not consistently use the three big steps given in verses 17 and 18.

Verse 17 says to take the helmet of deliverance and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God (your Bible). The helmet of deliverance (full salvation) gives protection over your mind.

If you don't keep the spirit of the world out of your mind you will rarely win the big battles. Your mind will be so indoctrinated with fear, worry, sin, etc. your faith level will greatly diminish.

When you are up against big problems, verse 17 says to use your scripture verses as a sword and cut the life of the enemy to pieces.

1. By applying the Word to the problem

2. By praying the Word over the problem

3. By speaking the Word to God, to the devil and to yourself

Hebrews 4:12, Proverbs 4:20-22, Joshua 1:8

The Bible states it is proper to remind God of His promises. The last step is given in verse 18 and it is so powerful and yet, neglected by many.

We are told to pray with all prayer in the Spirit. If we don't develop our relationship with our Father God and take time to know the Lord in times and seasons of prayer our miracle reports will be few.

James 4:7 gives us a great word of instruction and hope, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Keep your mind and heart filled with the Word so you will know God always wants you to win. Remember time spent in prayer with Him keeps your armour in place!

Does God tell lies? Let me answer this question by telling you what a lie is. According to the Greek used in the New Testament, a lie is an untruth, something erroneous, deceitful, wicked, and false. Revelation 21:8 teaches that all liars will have a terrible eternity, "all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire."

God is not a liar! He is holy and is called the Spirit of Truth. His kingdom was established in righteousness, purity and peace. Psalm 45:6 "Your throne O God is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom." God's word is true. He cannot and will not lie. His character and covenant does not change and His promises have not changed.

Jeremiah 1:12 "I will hasten my word to perform it" (In the Hebrew, this says, "I am watching over my word to perform it"). We can believe and trust the promises of God!

Hebrews 1:12 "But you are the same, And your years will not fail."

What has God spoken in His holy Bible about His willingness to help and heal His children? God has not changed His mind about helping us today. He is still the same and He never changes (Malachi 3:6). It is our privilege and responsibility to believe His Word. He is the Spirit of Truth.

God said...

5.  "I will satisfy you with long life" (Psalm 91:16).

6.  "I heal all of your diseases" (Psalm 103:3).

7.  "I sent my word and healed you and delivered you from your destructions" (Psalm 107:20).

8.  "I give power to the faint and to those who have no might I give strength" (Isaiah 40:29).

Jesus said...

1.  "I took your infirmities" (Matthew 8:17).

2.  "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it" (John 14:14).

3.  "The words I speak unto you are spirit and life" (John 6:63).

4.  "Sickness is Satanic bondage and you should be free today" (Luke 13:16).

5.  "If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes" (Mark 9:23).

God always speaks the truth. Satan is the father of lies and he is the one who tells you what God will not do for you. It is time for you to turn the table on the enemy and believe the Father!
