(I found this on the back of an old, old card in a drawer.  I do not know if I wrote it or I copied it...

When Jesus Christ is Lord over your life, you: 

1.  Obey His promptings without arguing.

2.  Obey even when you do not fully know His will or understand.

3.  You are available to serve Him no matter the cost.

4.  You recognize that He is the Source of all you need and you go to Him.

5.  Recognize His ownership over all that you are and all that you have.

6.  You learn to turn the difficulties or failures into a time of growing into maturity.

7.  He becomes the passion and obsession of your life.

8.  You hear His call and bow at His feet.

"For we walk by faith and not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7).
