Inner Healing Brings Peace - Part 2 - By Pat Stanton

Inner release and healing is needed whenever we feel bondage in any area. This bondage could reveal itself in many ways:

1. A sense of worthlessness or unworthiness

2. Erratic fits or outbursts of anger

3. Chronic depression

4. Hurts and sorrows of the past

5. Deep insecurities

6. Deep anxieties, frustrations, and fears

7. Abnormal sexual desires

8. Compulsive spending or hoarding

The list is really unending because of the deep needs within our emotions.

It is an established fact that babies, while in their mother's womb, can experience the feelings and emotions of the mother. Luke 1:41, "And it came to pass, that when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost." This is one reason why as I pray a prayer of inner healing for someone, I often include prayer for the Spirit to cleanse and heal from the time of conception.

As we come before the Lord and seek his healing and love, we should ask and receive His forgiveness. We then must forgive oursleves as the need may be and refuse to listen to the devil's condemnation.

Let me give you five steps to bring release and healing:

1. Accept God's forgiveness

2. Allow Him to erase guilt and restore self-worth

3. Ask for and receive inner healing and peace

4. Ask God for a new vision and purpose for your life

5. Continually praise Him for healing you and for putting a right spirit within.

The Word of God always directs us toward peace.
