There are certain attitudes and steps that you can live by that will help you maintain daily peace:

6.  BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU HEAR - Mark 4:24, "Take heed what you hear;...and unto you that hear shall more be given." We must be careful to train our ears to hear only good things. If we continually allow the bad to come into our ears and into our inner man, this will begin to affect the area of the body and soul (mind, will, and emotions).

We must discipline our ears to hear the voice of God. If we are filled with hearing the voices of the world, we are less likely to hear the voice of the Spirit.  Jeremiah 6:10, "To whom shall I speak, and give warning that they may hear: behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it."

Proverbs 4:20-22, "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes: keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health unto all their flesh."

Proverbs 18:8, "The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly." We should not listen to gossip, negative words, criticism, or talk that is full of doubt or fear.

Proverbs 15:30, "The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart; and a good report maketh fat the bones."

Proverbs 16:24, "Pleasant words are as honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones."

There are certain attitudes and steps that you can live by that will help you maintain daily peace:

4.  KEEP YOUR MIND FILLED WITH THE WORD - Matthew 4:4, "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in  you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

Proverbs 3:1,2, "My son, forget not my law, but let thine heart keep my commandments. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee."

Psalm 119:165, "Great peace have they which love thy law:  and nothing shall offend them."

5.  MAKE ONLY GOOD CONFESSIONS - James 3:2 states that if we speak only edifying words that we will be able to control our whole body and nature. This means that we can have better health, a purer life, and abundant peace.

James 3:6 says that our tongue can defile our whole body. In other words people become physically sick because of their diseased tongue.

Matthew 15:11, "Not that which goeth ino the mouth defileth a man, but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."

If we want miracles and peace in our lives, we must speak only positive words of faith based on God's promises. If we need salvation for a loved one, we must stop making bad confessions, and it will come to pass (Mark 11:23,24).

The following  are more verses that deal with the confessions of the mouth:

Proverbs 18:8 - Proverbs 12:18 - Proverbs 13:3

Proverbs 15:4 - Proverbs 16:24 - Proverbs 21:23

There are certain attitudes and steps that you can live by that will help you maintain daily peace:

1.  HAVE A HUMBLE ATTITUDE - As you develop a servant's heart, you will become more concerned about other's needs. This will cause your own mind to relax as you reach out to others. Philippians 2:7, "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men." We can have the peaceful mind of Christ if we desire to become what He was. John 12:24, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat falls into the ground and die, it abideth alone:  but if it dies, it bringeth forth much fruit."

2.  LET YOUR EXPECTATIONS BE FROM GOD - If God has become your source for happiness and peace, then these will not be taken from you when others disappoint you. Colossians 3:1, "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God." Colossians 2:6, "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him."

3.  REFUSE TO GRUMBLE, FRET, OR COMPLAIN - Fretting, grumbling, and complaining always takes away your peace. Colossians 3:17, "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by him." Psalm 37:1, "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity."
