Is He alive? If Jesus Christ is really alive, then we must look again at His life. He came to earth as an innocent child, but His return to earth the next time will be as a mighty conquering king.

The resurrection of Christ from the dead is an accomplished fact of history. This powerfully proved that Jesus was the Son of God: "Declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead" (Romans 1:4). Because Christ was the Son of God He was the only One without sin who could make the payment for our sins on the cross.

Jesus Christ is now in heaven seated at the right hand of the Father. He is alive forevermore and willing and able to give life for all who will call on His name. "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen (Revelation 1:18).

Dear Friends, the Lord is always ready and willing to give you His strength, peace and hope. "...but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name" (John 20:31).

Does God really care for you? Does He know your name?

"How precious is your lovingkindness O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings" (Psalm 36:7).

In scripture God describes His care and love like that of a mother hen or eagle. "How often I wanted to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing" (Matthew 23:37).

God also shows His love for Israel in Exodus 19:4. God cared for them just like the mother eagle caught her young on her wings to keep them from crashing while learning to fly, so God cared for Israel and brought them to Himself.

"You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagle's wings and brought you to Myself" (Exodus 19:4).

DOES GOD REALLY KNOW YOUR NAME? He spoke to Moses and said: "I know you by name and you have found grace in my sight" (Exodus 33:12-17). God also showed His true nature and love in Isaiah 49:15B, 16A "...I will not forget you. See, I have written your name on the palms of my hand."

God not only loves you and cares for you, but He knew you before you were even on this earth. I love the truth of this given in Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."

Dear friend, God has been thinking about you for a long time!

How long has God known you? The Bible states that God saw you when you were a wrapped and unformed substance (embryo - a living thing in its earliest stages of development).

Psalm 139:16 "Your eyes saw my substance yet unformed and in your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them."

God also knew you before you were ever in your mother's womb.

Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..."

I believe that you have always been on God's mind. "Even before the foundation of the world, Jesus Christ was the Lamb of God who was slain for our sins and forgiveness" (1 Peter 1:20).

"How precious are your thoughts to me o God! How great is the sum of them! If I could count them, they would be more in number than the sand" (Psalm 139: 17,18).
