Winning Combo - Praying, Saying, Believing - When Jesus Christ arose from the dead He gave to every believer a new key ring and a set of keys. He gave you and me the power and authority to bind and loose wth this new set of keys. "I will give the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind - that is, declare to be improper and unlawful - on earth must be already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth - declare lawful - must be what is already loosed in heaven" (Matthew 16:19 Amp Bible).

The Holy spirit wants every believer to understand this passage and to know how to use these keys of the kingdom. If you need more understanding about the powerful truth in this verse, just stop now and ask the Spirit to be your teacher and to lead you into his truth.

Let me give you an example of how I shared this verse with a man who was having great difficulty with his marriage.  He was yearning for his wife to return to the Lord. I explained that he was actually fighting against the rulers and principalities of darkness as is stated in Ephesians 6:12. I told him that he had power as a believer to bind the devil and to resist the spirits of strife and sin that were coming against his home. Jesus said in James 4:8 to "submit yourself to God" and then you are strong enough to resist the devil - It does no good to ask God to get the devil out of your home. He says that you are to command Satan to leave your family members, your friends, your finances, your job situation, your home, your church, etc.

You can also use the name of Jesus Christ and loose good things to come into the lives of people. As you pray for others, you can begin to speak words such as "In Jesus' name, I loose peace and healing to my son."

There is also another side to the coin regarding the keys of binding and loosing. Whenever you refuse to forgive someone, then all forgiveness is bound in heaven toward you. You can also bind up blessings from coming your way when you choose not to forgive. But when you choose to forgive and to love, then you open the windows of heaven for God's forgiveness and love to flow freely to you and your family.

Does God really give good things to His children? The Bible tells us that God is a remarkable Father. He not only supplies the needs of His family, but also their wants. Psalm 84:11 states that ... "no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly."

We are also taught in Psalm 37:4 that God will give you the desires of your heart. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." The Bible is very clear in it's teaching that God wants us to have enough. He is our Shepherd and He says that we do not have to be in need or lack (Psalm 23:1).

"Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him"! ...there is no lack to those who fear Him.  The Lord really is the good Shepherd. He also is Almighty God and will do the miraculous to bring the help that we need. We need to ask, believe, and to walk uprightly before the Lord. Romans 8:32b, "How shall he not with him, also freely give us all things."

Inner release and healing is needed whenever we feel bondage in any area. This bondage could reveal itself in many ways:

1. A sense of worthlessness or unworthiness

2. Erratic fits or outbursts of anger

3. Chronic depression

4. Hurts and sorrows of the past

5. Deep insecurities

6. Deep anxieties, frustrations, and fears

7. Abnormal sexual desires

8. Compulsive spending or hoarding

The list is really unending because of the deep needs within our emotions.

It is an established fact that babies, while in their mother's womb, can experience the feelings and emotions of the mother. Luke 1:41, "And it came to pass, that when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost." This is one reason why as I pray a prayer of inner healing for someone, I often include prayer for the Spirit to cleanse and heal from the time of conception.

As we come before the Lord and seek his healing and love, we should ask and receive His forgiveness. We then must forgive oursleves as the need may be and refuse to listen to the devil's condemnation.

Let me give you five steps to bring release and healing:

1. Accept God's forgiveness

2. Allow Him to erase guilt and restore self-worth

3. Ask for and receive inner healing and peace

4. Ask God for a new vision and purpose for your life

5. Continually praise Him for healing you and for putting a right spirit within.

The Word of God always directs us toward peace.
