"But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace" (Psalm 37:11).

I pray you experience the mighty truth of this verse and know in your heart and life the fulfillment of God's provision. The Lord states those who are meek  - - - - (gentle, humble - saintly) will inherit the land.

This word inherit has a powerful life changing meaning. It's to:

* occupy (by driving out previous tenants and possession in their place)
* to seize - cast out - destroy and disinherit - take possession

As the song says, go into the enemies camp and seize and take back what has been stolen from you. You can only do this if you are living a committed life and walking in His authority and peace.

May we be committed to Him and then join together as one..."That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations" (Psalm 67:2).

I pray for you to effectively inherit many new blessings from the Lord and to revel in His peace.

This peace means:

* to be safe, happy, and well - to receive welfare from Him
* health, prosperity and peace

Get A Fresh Perspective of God and of Yourself!  Isaiah 55:14, "In righteousness you shall be established. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, it shall not come near you."

1.  Remember who you are in Him - established strong in Him - a child of the King

2.  You are far from oppression

3.  No fear or terror

4.  Confidence - it will not come near

Vs. 17, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord."

No weapon will succeed or prosper

The tongue (words from the enemy or anyone else, you will silence them)

This is your right (heritage - a child of the Lord, King)

You are clothed in righteousness (right standing) - the darts of the enemy will not succeed (Ephesians 6:10-18). You have the purity and power of Christ

A.  Remember - get a fresh perspective of God and of yourself. You are well able to overcome the enemy

B.  Develop fresh prayer perspective

     *  See your throne rights (Hebrews 4:14-16)

     *  Apply effective, fervent prayer from your righteous heart (James 5:16-18)

     * Confess sin and be at peace with all others (forgiveness)

C.  Take the Lord's Supper (Communion)

D.  Present your body to the Lord (Romans 12:1,2)

E.  Respect the Word (Matthew 4:4, Proverbs 4:20-22) Believe it and Receive it

F.  Speak to the mountain (problem)

How do you handle sudden problems? Who do you run to for help? The disciples found themselves in a unique situation. They were in a boat with the miracle worker Jesus. They had just spent the day watching Jesus heal the sick and then witnessed an evening healing crusade.

I am sure that they were ready for some rest and peace. But, the Bible gives another story that brought great fear. "And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with waves. But He (Jesus) was asleep" (Matthew 8:23-27). The disciples did what anyone else would have done. They awoke the Master and said, "Lord, save us! We are perishing! (We are going to drown!)

"But He said to them, Why are you so fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm." I like Mark's writing from Mark 4:39, "Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be still! And the wind ceased and there was a great calm." Isn't is wonderful that even in the middle of a storm, you can still have peace - if Jesus is in your boat!
