“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2).

I believe this verse has much application for our lives. The Lord states there is great potential for harvest.

We can be one of the laborers we’ve been instructed to pray for. In verse one, the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them to every city and place where He was to go. In verse nine the Lord said they were to heal the sick and to declare “the kingdom of God has come near you.”

I believe this is a part of the ministry for Lubbock Rays of Hope. We want to touch people and let them know God is near to them.

Let's help fulfill the mission of the church from Matthew 28:19, 20. We want to be a part of the great army of believers going into all the world. Together we can make possible the harvest the Lord desires to come to pass. May the Lord touch you and answer every prayer of your heart.

God sent His Word - the written and Living Word to heal! "Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching, preaching the good news, and healing every weakness and infirmity among the people" (Matthew 4:23).

Psalm 107:20, "He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction." He is still unlimited, unchanging, and all powerful! God has not changed His mind about healing. His thoughts and ideas for man are the same. "For I am the Lord, I do not change..." (Malachi 3:6). "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).

I love the truth about healing in Exodus 15:26. The Lord declares to His people that "He is the Lord that heals." This same message is given in Isaiah 53:4,5 and in 1 Peter 2:24. Aren't we glad that God's truth is still enduring to all generations! This is expressed in Psalm 33:11, "The counsel of the Lord stands forever, and the plans of His heart to all generations."

God also states that the "authority of His word is settled and established in heaven and that His faithfulness endures to all generations" (Psalm 119:89,90). We should all give thanks that we can receive healing and help from the written and the Living Word!

I am so grateful that I can have a part in sending forth the truth of the Lord. "I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth I will make known Your faithfulness to all generations" (Psalm 89:1).

"As for God, his way is perfect:  the word of the Lord is tried:  he is a buckler to all those who trust in him" (Psalm 18:30). The Lord spoke to my heart as I read this verse. According to verse thirty - His way is His word.

This word perfect means to be entire, whole and without blemish. The word of the Lord is sound and undefiled. The word of the Lord will also stand forever and is a sure foundation for all of life.

The Psalmist goes on to say in verse thirty two, "He makes my way perfect." Not only is God and His way perfect, but He declares that He will make all of your ways whole (perfect). Let me encourage you to bring all your ways before the Lord and believe, conceive, and trust Him for His fulness. Remember this: "It is God that girds me with strength and makes my way perfect."

I pray for you to receive an answer to all your prayers prayed in faith. The Lord is a rewarder of all those who diligently seek after Him. The Lord loves to open the windows of heaven and release His blessings!
