Are you experiencing the happy anticipation of hope?  "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13).

This verse indicates that joy and peace can be a great part of your believing faith. When you are fully trusting the Lord about certain matters, you do have great joy and peace released upon you. God, the source of hope, sees your faith and then the Holy Spirit causes you to abound in hope.

This word abound in the Greek means to: super-abound, be in excess, to exceed beyond measure, and superabundance.

When you have superabundance of hope, then you will be able to anticipate with pleasure the blessings of the Lord. In the Greek text, hope is referred to as "the happy anticipation of good."

God is "the God of hope." He is the Author of hope.  Confident hope is brought to our hearts by the Holy Spirit and our expectation goes to the Father, as we are reminded of His love. "Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord" (Psalm 31:24).

 “But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace” (Psalm 37:11).

I pray you experience the mighty truth of this verse and know in your heart and life the fulfillment of God’s provision. The Lord states those who are meek, (gentle, humble - saintly) will inherit the land. This word inherit has a powerful life changing meaning. It is to:

* Occupy (by driving out previous tenants and possession in their place)

* To seize – to cast out – to destroy and disinherit – to take possession

You can go into the enemy’s camp, seize and take back what’s been stolen. You can only do this if you live a “meek” life and walk in His authority and peace.

This peace means:

* To be safe, happy, well; to receive welfare from Him

* Health, prosperity, peace

Psalm 91 KJV - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2  I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9  Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16  With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
