Can you really put all of your care upon the Lord? Is God aware of your needs? 1 Peter 5:7 declares that God cares for you and is ready to receive your anxieties or trouble, "...casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."

When we release our cares and circumstances upon the Lord, we are to let them rest in His hands. How can you really let go and give your total life into God's care? We can be helped as we look at Psalm 46:10 which states, "Be still and know that I am God." In the original Hebrew, the word "still" means to slacken, to cease, to draw toward evening (slow down).

It is also the word "Raphah" which means to mend by stitching, to cure, to repair, to be healed, to thoroughly make whole, and physician. We must learn how to be still. We need to get quiet before the Lord and be totally alone with Him in prayer. Yes, He cares for you and daily looks for you!

Is God too powerful and great to be aware of your needs?  There is an interesting concept given in Isaiah 40:22. "It is God Who sits above the circle (the horizon) of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; it is He Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in."

God's power and strength is everlasting because He is Everlasting. As we look at Psalm 46:1, we find that He is always willing to help. "God is our refuge and strength, and a very present help in times of trouble."

This word "trouble" means:  distress, a tight place, an opponent, to be in anquish, sorrow, and affliction. God, our Father, really is a constant and abiding help. As we have Christ in our heart, then His presence rushes to our side.

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; ...He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength" (Isaiah 40:28,29).

The first statement in the Bible brings us face to face with God....Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God..." The Bible begins with God and ends with the benediction of our Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 22:21 "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, Amen."

We know from scripture that Christ the Son was in the beginning with God and dwelt in the Father's bosom (the heart and breast). John 1:1,18 He was also in the beginning of all creation. "For by Him all things were created in heaven and earth...All things were created through Him and for Him" (Colossians 1:16).

This is the mighty God that we serve. He is the One that can bring your healing and miracle. Philippians 4:19 begins with God and ends with Christ Jesus. "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

God established one kingdom and One King. The kingdom has no ending. The Lord Jesus Christ is the same for yesterday, today and forever. He is still merciful and gracious. "For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations" (Psalm 100:5). He is still the God of Power!
