With spring time here and summer approaching, many will be dealing with sun burns. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we as Christian believers had the problem of Son burns? I am speaking about the truth from Luke 24:32, "And they said to one another, "Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?"

Isn't it wonderful that the warmth and presence of God's love fills our whole being as we walk with Him.  The two men on the road to Emmaus in Luke 24 experienced a personal encounter with the living Christ. He took the time to explain about Himself, beginning at Moses and all the Prophets in Scripture.

We can also be blessed and warmed as we take the time to sit with the Lord in prayer, study, and friendship. We should also receive the mighty baptism and fire of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:1-18).  We serve a risen Savior who is coming again with many rewards. "But to you who fear my name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings..." (Malachi 4:2). Let us all receive the brilliant healing rays of our Lord Jesus Christ!
