The God of Power Part 3

Is God too powerful and great to be aware of your needs?

Is God too powerful and great to be aware of your needs?  There is an interesting concept given in Isaiah 40:22.  "It is God Who sits above the circle (the horizon) of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; it is He Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in."

God's power and strength is everlasting because He is Everlasting.  As we look at Psalm 46:1, we find that He is always willing to help.  "God is our refuge and strength, and a very present help in times of trouble."

This word "trouble" means:  distress, a tight place, an opponent, to be in anquish, sorrow, and affliction.  God, our Father, really is a constant and abiding help.  As we have Christ in our heart, then His presence rushes to our side.

"Have you not known?  Have you not heard?  The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; ...He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength" (Isaiah 40:28,29).
